Our number one priority is resident and staff safety.  To prevent the spread of contagions or infectious diseases like the COVID-19,
we are operating under a no visitation rule as advised by the Department of Health and the CDC.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Megan Ward Wilson, Residence Manager

Hello!  I'm Megan Wilson, the Residence Manager here at the Villages at Greystone. We opened our doors to the Beckley/Beaver community and moved our first resident in on November 1, 1998. Until then, the closest assisted living facility similar to ours was over an hour away for anyone living in the Beckley area and surrounding counties. Many people now tell me that we were "heaven sent".

The Villages at Greystone is very unique because of the variety and quality of services we offer. Initially, one may think we are similar to any old nursing home, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Our entire staff focuses daily on providing excellent customer service, maintaining a comfortable homelike atmosphere and a family-like relationship with every resident and their family. Almost all of our extended families tell us we've spoiled their parents rotten. We take these comments as an ultimate compliment!

While our 24-hour-a-day nursing staff quickly addresses health care issues as they arise, we also endeavor to create a fun, warm environment. Residents and guests alike are charmed by our community dogs, Curly Sue the Retriever and Clarence the hound, who like to compete in our annual Pet Pow Wow when they’re not providing love and companionship to all.

These are just a few of the things that create the atmosphere that means so much to everyone at The Villages at Greystone. Anytime someone walks into our community they become part of our very large, extended family. Our goal is to make each individual feel at home— just like they were at Grandma's house. Come for a visit, and we may just bake you some of Grandma's homemade cookies for a little treat! Anyone is welcome to visit at any time of the day or night, we're not picky. We enjoy all of our guests, whether we plan for them or they surprise us. When you visit, make sure you have time to join us for a home cooked meal. You won't be sorry you stopped by —I promise.

Call me at 304-256-7579 anytime, I'm here to help!
